It’s funny because I do this all the time. Doesn’t matter when I need to get up, I want to see where my RP’s going. I actually have a partner now who says “Now it’s time for you to go to sleep” after her post at 1AM every night. Occasionally she’ll even make the mistake and do that when I DON’T have to get up early the next day.

I play Dr. Doppler who has a PhD in astrophysics. My worst subject in school was physics and it’s a pain because I have to research so much about stuff I know nothing about. It will take hours upon hours just to understand what I’m talking about. The sad part is this isn’t the first time I’ve done this. I had a lawyer character before. On the plus side I actually understand a good deal of Law and Order now.

This is why I prefer streaming generally because you can watch it to get a feel for it and then trot out and buy it properly.I’ve never been fussed with downloading - I’d rather have a proper copy.
Without youtube.streaming I’d have not watched Wilde or Total Eclipse, for example, and I went out and bought those. Not to mention the firefly boxset, and about 60% of the bands I listen to.
